We get so busy during Christmas trying to squeeze extra things into our already busy schedule.
After Christmas, it's easy to feel a little let down.

One of the nice things about being a pastor and being self-employed is that I get to work from home whenever I need to. Today I ran to the bank early while the snow was just beginning and got all my running around done.
I was on my way home from the rehearsal dinner (Nov. 21st) the evening before my wedding when something terrible happened.
I think that it's essential to our faith that we are real with one another and real before God. I think there are 3 levels of being real. The first is level involves masks. It's about pretending to be something we're not. It's about image and self-esteem.
All the stress from the economy seems to be making a lot of people fearful. I don't believe that we have anything to fear.
Excitement is in the air. Tonight I put a few finishing touches on our fall mailer invitations. Our mailers will be going out early next week! Below is a shot of my workspace this evening:
Today was a different kind of day. I sang & played a song at a funeral service--"This Road" by Jars of Clay. It was for Barb C's mother. It's the same song I played in the same chapel 2 years ago at my great uncle's funeral.
